During our drive, there was a huge puncture in one of the tires and the car was warning about breakpads getting too thin. We decided to take a break in Bhopal so that we reach Bengaluru during weekend.
Since Bhopal doesn't have any service stations, I had to drive to Indore to get the car fixed. They replaced the breakpads but did not have tires. So I just re-fixed the puncture and decided that it be taken care of in Bengaluru.
There was another issue in the car, during the last few days I was getting an intermittent error that was pointing to EGR (exhaust gas re circulation) fault. The Indore dealer guessed that it may be due to bad fuel. Later even Bengaluru dealer tried to find the root cause, but as of now there is nothing.
I used BMW diesel additive that is supposed to cleanup injectors etc.
