We left Amritsar at 6:25 AM. The next destination was Dalhousie. It was early morning and no restaurants were open for breakfast. After we crossed Pathankot, we found a restaurant Chennai Xprs. We stopped there for breakfast.
The food was reasonably good.
We had planned on taking a detour to Bathu Ki Lad which a set of temples in Pong Dam. The route went through lots of very narrow village roads.
10:35 AM We arrived very close to the Dam but we realized that we need to cross some deep ditches to reach the reservoir. So we decided to not go on that adventure and return back. This place was amazing though, standing crops waiting to be harvested.
We started back towards Dalhousie.
1:45 PM We arrived in Dalhousie. We checked into Hotel Mountain View. Here is our review of the place.
