We left our home in Bengaluru around 7:15 am. The target for first day was to reach Vijaypura (Bijapur).
7:41am Entered the NICE road. The plan was to exit at Tumkur exit and then continue onwards towards Hospete.
8:20 am Exited NICE road
8:50 am Stopped at Cafe Coffee Day in Dobbaspet. Took a half an hour breaks. CCDs are no longer what they used to be. Somehow one gets the feeling that the business is dying.
10:20am Stopped at Hotel SR grand in Thavarkere. The place was really horrible. Somehow this stretch has very few decent eating places.
12:30 pm Fuelled up at Reliance petrol station near Hospete.
2:00 pm Stopped at Nandagokula Veg Restaurant at Kushtagi. This was the only proper place that we found on this stretch.
